Design Challenge Outdoors

A free, drop-in, design-making event to explore artistic expression hosted by MOCA. The design challenge. Participants took about 20 minutes to design their idea of what freedom looks like.

Blitz Day

June 6, 2021

An online field trip to museums in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio; where a design hosted reports on the artwork showing and what activities were happening inside of the museum. Participating museums were: Akron Children’s Museum, Third Space Cleveland, Akron Summit ArtSpace, Cleveland Children’s Museum, and the African American Museum Cleveland.

TWIST Creative: Spreading Kindness with Color

During the pandemic when there was so much uncertainty, the design team set out to “spread kindness” through a self-initiated project in the form of a coloring book filled with 31 pages of custom illustrations. In this virtual event, participants had the opportunity to meet the talented team at TWIST, hear about what inspired them, and see how TWIST is giving back to the community by reaching children of all ages to educate and inspire.
